  The award of a Schroedinger Stipendium allowed her to work for 2 years as a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. C. Amatore at the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris, France. This was followed by several positions as research fellow at Tufts University, Boston, USA, ENSCPB, Bordeaux, France, before joining the CEA (Grenoble, France) as a CNRS post-doctoral fellow
