| Dr. WANG Yuan has graduated from Tsinghua University, and then obtained the Doctoral Degree in Economics at Chinese Academy of Social Science. He also studied at University of Essen, Germany. From early 1980s to 2000, he worked in Institute of Industrial Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Science and Development Research Center of the State Council of the People s Republic of China. He has been the director of NRCSTD since 2000. His major research areas are: industrial economics, enterprise economics, science and technology strategy and policy. He is the major participant and writer of the Medium and Long-Term Development Planning for China s Science & Technology and the related policies of the Planning. |
