Simply Alpbach – Friedrich Kleinhapl Performs Two Cello Suites

Roughly around the time when the Catholic baroque church St. Oswald in Alpbach was constructed, the Lutheran and exceptional artist Johann Sebastian Bach composed six Cello Suites. The outstanding solo artist Friedrich Kleinhapl will play two of these suites, namely the Cello Suite No. 1 in G major and the Cello Suite No. 3 in C major, with his characteristic verve on a cello by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini.
