10: The EU s Role in Global Governance: Working With Strategic Partners
European Forum Alpbach in cooperation with CEPS – The Centre for European Policy Studies
The working group will bring together high-level EU experts, practitioners from the Member States, and representatives from European think tanks, academia and the press who will focus on the role of the European Union in the world. The participants in the debate will particularly assess the role and potential of the EU in promoting (good) global governance through strategic partnerships with third countries. In this respect, we will address the question to which extent the increasingly variable geometry of the EU will influence its role on the international stage.
