A growing imbalance between working life and retirement, an early actual retirement age and ever higher state subsidies for pensions – is the Austrian pension system being stretched to its limits? What are the incentives (not) to retire early? Is our pension system a Ponzi scheme in which everybody has the aim of getting the most out of it? Which contributions do the real economy and finance make to old-age provisions? How can people be encouraged to assume their personal responsibility? Are reforms in Austria lagging behind? These questions will be discussed by:
