19: Industrial Production in the City of the Future

-
Hauptschule
Breakout /
in deutscher Sprache

Supported by the Federation of Austrian Industries
A lack of space for business premises, discussions with neighbours and environmental issues are just a few of the numerous challenges with which industrial production companies are faced in urban areas. These issues often do not arise in rural regions. For this reason, urban areas are often claimed to be locations for service companies. The recent crisis, however, has shown that regions with a balanced economic structure apparently cope better than regions focusing on services only. Which requirements have to be met to allow for successful industrial production in the cities of the future? The audience will join the discussion and voice their opinions via an electronic voting tool.
