”A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare

2016 is the year of Shakespeare: the 23rd of April marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Students in their second year at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art London bring one of his most frequently performed plays to Alpbach. Shakespeare’s work led the way for the German literature of the Enlightenment. Students of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art will be Michael Balogun, Katie Buchholz, Faoileann Cunningham, Catherine Dryden, Agatha Elwes, Richard Heappey, Irfan Shamij, Lettice Thomas, Christopher White, and Christopher Young.

Nona SHEPPHARD

 Nona Shepphard is a freelance writer, director and deviser with over 150 productions and 40 commissioned plays to her credit. Her plays for a young audience recieved several awards and have been presented in the USA, Canada, Europe and Russia. Among her most recent writings are: "Signs of a Star-Shaped Diva" for GraeaeTheatre Company/Theatre Royal Stratford and Therese Raquin a musical version of Emile Zola's novel. She is the Associate Director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and Creative Director of RADA Enterprises.
