Lift your gaze to the balcony of the Alpbach town hall, and you’re in for a surprise!
At twelve noon, this balcony will turn into a stage. Students of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and scholarship-holders of the European Forum Alpbach will breathe new life into balcony scenes from world literature. From Great Britain to China, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ included!

Nona SHEPPHARD

Nona Shepphard is a freelance writer, director and deviser with over 150 productions and 40 commissioned plays to her credit. Her plays for a young audience recieved several awards and have been presented in the USA, Canada, Europe and Russia. Among her most recent writings are: "Signs of a Star-Shaped Diva" for GraeaeTheatre Company/Theatre Royal Stratford and Therese Raquin a musical version of Emile Zola's novel. She is the Associate Director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and Creative Director of RADA Enterprises. |
