This year you’ll also be in for a surprise if you look up at the balcony of Alpbach town hall! At the stroke of noon, it will transform into a stage for music and theatre. Alpbach scholarship-holders and students from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art will take an artistic look at the topic of freedom and security.

Nona SHEPPHARD

Nona Shepphard is a freelance writer, director and deviser with over 150 productions and 40 commissioned plays to her credit. Her plays for a young audience recieved several awards and have been presented in the USA, Canada, Europe and Russia. Among her most recent writings are: "Signs of a Star-Shaped Diva" for GraeaeTheatre Company/Theatre Royal Stratford and Therese Raquin a musical version of Emile Zola's novel. She is the Associate Director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and Creative Director of RADA Enterprises. |
