01: Using Big Data to Create a Citizen-Oriented Healthcare System by 2025?
By 2020, the amount of digital data available globally will have increased tenfold. Today, there are already enormous amounts of data on factors influencing human health. Studies on medical issues are published around the world while companies collect data on consumer behaviour and browsing habits which allow us to draw conclusions about people s health and their health behaviour. How can this data be utilised in order to preserve and improve public health by 2025? Which limits have to be respected when using this sort of data?
