02: Easing of Starting University with AKMATH – Mathematics Refresher Course
Using Blended Learning, the AKMATH course at the University of Technology Vienna repeats, boosts and secures the “tools of the trade” of mathematics fundamentals for the first semester. In particular, the several-weeks-long course is aimed at students who have taken time off after finishing school, and at students who visited schools with noticeably different course content in mathematics. As a result, success rates are improved and drop-outs are reduced.
