How can society deal with the fact that some people are disadvantaged by their genetic predispositions? How can our healthcare system be improved in terms of genetic counselling, diagnosis and support? Do we have a particular responsibility towards less well-educated classes? To which extent do affected people or their families have to bear financial and social consequences themselves, and what kind of support should the healthcare system offer?
