06: How Can Europe Overcome Disparity due to the Digital Revolution?

-

in englischer Sprache

Europe is hesitant when it comes to the implementation of the digital society and above all of a digital economy on the basis of common data-protection. As an IT-location, Europe has fallen far behind the USA and Asia in most areas. What do the political and economic elites of the EU have to do in order to catch up? How can the digital common market be established? How can the use of Big and Open Data as well as Cloud Computing be simplified and encouraged? Should the EU invest in new digital products and mobility services?
