in englischer Sprache

To meet the growing needs and improve the effectiveness of humanitarian response, we need to look beyond the traditional international humanitarian system and better understand the contribution of all actors involved, including the civil protection community, local and diaspora organisations, host and donor governments, the military and the private sector, and the affected people themselves. We will look at the concept of “interoperability”, which describes the effort to optimise the response for people in crisis by making different networks and systems work better together to deliver assistance in a predictable, systematic and coordinated way.
