in deutscher SpracheRapid progress in functional brain research has made it possible to explain and document how individuals think, feel and behave. The potential influence this kind of information can have is immense, not only on a personal level, but also on society as a whole. Insights into thinking processes and behavioural patterns allow for a promotion of constructive behaviours, but also for manipulation in the fields of medicine, psychology and politics. Findings are already available – but how can they be used in a socially, ethically and politically responsible way?
