I.02: HPSS – Health Promoting Secondary Schools in Iceland
HPSS is a long-term project currently being undertaken by all secondary schools in Iceland. Each school-year, a special emphasis is placed on one of the four main themes: Nutrition, Exercise, Mental Health & Lifestyle. The activities include the (in)formal curriculum in health, the creation of a healthy school environment, the provision of health services and the involvement of the family and wider community.
