10: Tackling Social Injustice in Europe

The social gap within Europe has significantly increased in recent years. In their comparison of all EU member states, the Bertelsmann Foundation has made clear the difference in approach and implementation across the EU towards the concept of social justice and the design of an inclusive society. How can this trend towards inequality be stopped in the areas of “household consolidation” and “investments in the future”? What does this mean for the economy and what role will it have to play in this context? This Breakout Session will deal interactively with these questions.
