13: The Unequal State: How Inequality Blocks Society’s Creativity and How to Achieve Radical Change
In cooperation with RSA - Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce
Today’s era of increased fragmentation is calling into question whether our institutions, governments and policy-making can drive the necessary political and social change that addresses the basis of rising inequality. If inequality is the problem that blocks creativity, and traditional solutions are not readily available, then what can be done? What are the new roles and responsibility of politics? Join us for a dynamic and participatory session on how traditional policy-making and the state need to evolve; hear about alternatives that are making an impact and contribute your thoughts on what should be done to achieve radical change.
