16: Proactive University Engagement for “New” Students
The Free University of Bolzano visits school and invites school pupils to trial lessons in order to give them an understanding of university education. In the context of the cooperation project “Uni meets School”, school pupils can participate in the educational opportunities offered by the university and have a course recognised as an optional subject by their faculty at the start of their studies. In the STEM-tutoring project, school pupils receive individual advice on the course content and employment opportunities in the STEM areas.
