24: Service Learning – Applied Knowledge in Higher Education
Service learning combines theoretical knowledge, research competences and hands-on learning and has two main goals: it offers students opportunities to apply classroom learning and supplies meaningful community service. A concrete project will emphasise the added value for learning processes in higher education.
