II.08: Pathways for Change: An Engagement Journey with Intention
The purpose was to discover a health care service that would meet 21st century local needs so that: A strategic model of Primary Care could be developed and implemented that would improve health care provision, strengthen decision making processes and improve the trust and relationship with clinicians, other partners and the public. Included in this was the new management team’s commitment to face the challenge of creating a health care model that would simultaneously improve service provision and also bring the PCTs into financial balance.
