22: In Austria, Dropouts Aren’t Dropouts and Students Aren’t Students
While we tend largely to overestimate the number of dropouts from Austrian universities, the contrary is true when it comes to the number of students who are actively studying, i.e., sitting exams with at least 16 ECTS credits per year. Reasons for this unusual situation and potential solutions to the problem are discussed.
