The project “Higher Education on the Ground in Dortmund Nordtstadt” aims to raise the awareness for social commitment and responsibility carried by higher education institutions. Additional goals of the project are to introduce new blood to higher education and to increase the presence of higher education in the Nordstadt. Dortmund Nordstadt has great potential as a centre of cultural diversity. With this project, the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts hopes to uncover this untapped potential.
