in deutscher SpracheFritz Molden, forerunner and companion of the European Forum Alpbach and one of the most colorful personalities in Austria’s political and cultural life died in January 2014. Already as a teenager he engaged in anti-Nazi resistance. After the end of World War II he first became a diplomat, then a journalist and media tycoon, and Austria’s most daring big-scale publisher. The striking constant in this life of many volte-faces was his commitment to Austria that he loved with patriotic passion.
In memory of this great Austrian and “Alpbacher” friends and companions converse about a life led according to convictions and fearless of the risks this entailed.
