Courage. In Memoriam Fritz Molden
Fritz Molden, forerunner and companion of the European Forum Alpbach and one of the most colorful personalities in Austria’s political and cultural life died in January 2014. Already as a teenager he engaged in anti-Nazi resistance. After the end of World War II he first became a diplomat, then a journalist and media tycoon, and Austria’s most daring big-scale publisher. The striking constant in this life of many volte-faces was his commitment to Austria that he loved with patriotic passion.
In memory of this great Austrian and “Alpbacher” friends and companions converse about a life led according to convictions and fearless of the risks this entailed.
