Dr. Ludmila GEORGIEVA

 Dr. Georgieva joined the EU Policy Team of Google in Brussels in December 2018 and is in charge of cybersecurity and privacy policy issues. Prior to that, she worked first in a law company in Vienna, in 2009 joined the Federal Chancellery of Austria (Constitutional Service) and in 2013 the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU in Brussels (for the Federal Chancellery) as Special Attaché for Cybersecurity, Data Protection and Media Policy. In her function in Brussels, she was deeply involved in the negotiations of e.g. the GDPR, the EU-US-Privacy Shield, the NIS-Directive as well as in the national coordination of the Digital Single Market Policy. During the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018, Dr. Georgieva was chair of the Horizontal Working Party on Cyber Issues in the Council and in charge of the trilogue with the European Parliament and the European Commission on the Cybersecurity Act. She holds a master and a doctoral degree in law (University of Vienna) and she lectures and publishes in the field of Union Law, Data Protection and Cybersecurity.

 Thomas Schaufler started his career at GiroCredit in 1993. He has worked in various management positions at Erste Bank since 1997 in the area of retail sales for the group and domestic savings banks. In addition to being responsible for the group-wide securities business, he also served as Managing Director of Erste Asset Management. In February 2016, he was appointed to the Management Board of Erste Bank Oesterreich.

Dr. Stefan A. DEUTSCHER

 Stefan Deutscher is an Associate Director in the Berlin office of The Boston Consulting Group and is a core member of the Technology Advantage Practice and of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice. He is BCG's global topic leader for Cyber Security and IT Risk management and for IT infrastructure and data center operations. Before joining BCG, Stefan spent almost 10 years of building, operating, and advising academic computing centers while at the same time teaching and pursuing research in theoretical and computational atomic physics, quantum chemistry, and high-performance computing at several international research centers. Stefan holds a PhD in Theoretical Atomic and Computational Physics from Free University, Berlin, Germany and Oak Ridge National Labs / UTK Knoville, Tennessee, USA. He has a Masters in Physics from Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany.
