 Martin Spolc is the Head of the Sustainable Finance and Fintech unit in the European Commission's Directorate General for Financial Services. Prior to his current role, he was the Head of the Capital Markets Union unit, the Economic analysis unit, Deputy Head of the Banking unit and Assistant to the Director General, directly involved in developing the Banking Union and other key projects in the area of financial services aiming at restoring financial stability since the crisis. Before joining the Commission, he had worked at risk management consultancy and the banking sector. He is the holder of the CFA and FRM designations and member of the CFA Institute and Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Dr. Towa Christina GRÄFIN VON BISMARK

 Towa Christina von Bismark is Executive Director at UBS Switzerland AG, working within UHNW Germany & Austria International in Zürich with focus on Charities and Foundations. After completing her studies in economics and law, she worked for the Scandinavian paper industry in both the national and international sectors, before transitioning to work with Lamco Paper Sales Ltd. in London. After working for an international legal office in Munich, Towa Christina began an advising position with ABN AMRO / Bethmann Bank AG. In 2013, she overtook the responsibility for Foundations and Charities at Bethmann Bank AG. She is an active member of the board of trustees at Drivers and Business Club in Munich, board member of YOU Foundation (former UNESCO Germany) and at Deutsche Stiftung Multiple Sklerose as well as Amandla EduFootball and United Way. Towa Christina holds a Ph.D. in law as well as a degree in foundation management from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel. She is specialized in international foundation law.
