Wolfgang MÜLLER-PIETRALLA

Wolfgang Müller-Pietralla studied Biology at the University of Hanover, focusing on models and simulations of ecologic systems. In 1992 he joined Volkswagen where he introduced a sustainable environmental management system. During the EXPO 2000 in Hanover Mr. Müller-Pietralla was responsible for the stage management of the permanent pavilion Rainforest House and the Autostadt. Since 2002, Mr. Müller-Pietralla has been the head of the Volkswagen Group Research department Future Affairs. Here, he and his team focus on deducting future mobility and vehicle concepts by analyzing future trends. In addition to his work at Volkswagen, Mr. Mueller-Pietralla has been giving lectures at the Free University of Berlin since October 2010. |
DI Herbert RASTBICHLER

Herbert Rastbichler serves as managing director for HP s Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) region and as vice president for HP s Enterprise Business segments in CEE. In this role Rastbichler is responsible for strategy and business growth across the region by leveraging the entire HP portfolio of products and services and developing strong relationships and key alliances with both business and governments in all major CEE countries. | |
Rastbichler joined HP Austria in1982 as a customer engineer and soon moved into a product specialist role and was a founding member of the Response Center Organization in Austria. In 1988 he took on management responsibility, first in Austria, then in 1990 expanding into Central and Eastern Europe, where he helped to build up HP s infrastructure in the region. Rastbichler was named customer support manager for Austria in 1993 and held several management positions before he was appointed to head HP Services in the International Sales Europe (ISE) region in November 1999. In May 2002 he was named vice president and general manager of HP Services for ISE. | |
In 2004 Rastbichler became vice president and general manager for the Technology Solutions Group (TSG) in ISE. In this role he led the newly formed TSG organization with full profit and loss responsibility for all server, storage, software, consulting & integration, outsourcing and customer support businesses. | |
From August 2005 until June 2007 Rastbichler headed the HP Services organisation for HP s General Western European country group (GWE) with full profit and loss responsibility for all services business, consisting of consulting & integration, outsourcing and technology services businesses. Rastbichler holds a degree in telecommunications from the Vienna Technical University. |
