Banks and financial service providers help to make this possible. The aim has to be to give more people worldwide access to such services. At the same time, the experiences of the subprime crisis demonstrate the need for the promotion of financial literacy for all citizens, alongside consumer protection. What are the opportunities and risks for us all in light of the crisis?
