”Heart-Effect” in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany) is a project to connect the whole health system. Doctors can monitor the status of patients at risk – anywhere and anytime, even at home. What are the impacts of monitoring without a break? What are the advantages and the risks?

 Köksal Baltaci arbeitet seit 2011 als Innenpolitik- und Chronikredakteur bei der Tageszeitung "Die Presse" in Wien. Er wurde mit zahlreichen Preisen ausgezeichnet, darunter dem Journalistenpreis Integration, dem Prälat-Ungar-Journalistenpreis, dem CNN Investigate Award sowie dem Preis der Wiener und der Österreichischen Ärztekammer. 2013 wurde er zum "Journalist des Jahres" gewählt. Gesellschaftspolitische Themen rund um Integration und Migration gehören zu seinen Schwerpunkt. Ende 2017 verbrachte er mehrere Monate in den USA und arbeitete dort bei "USA Today" in Washington D.C.
