Mrs Beate Hartinger-Klein was born in Graz and has been Federal Minister of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Austria since December 2017. Prior to that, she was Managing Director or Deputy Director-General of the Main Association of Austrian Social Security Institutions, among other jobs in the health sector (hospital management). From 1999 to 2002, she was a member of the National Council of the Austrian Parliament for the FPÖ (Freedom Party of Austria). |
