 Hans Aubauer was appointed Director General at the Social Security Service for Entrepreneurs of Austria in 2016. He studied Business Administration at the University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria. Furthermore, he studied Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Technology Vienna and finished his postgraduate studies to become Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Before he started at the Social Security Service for Entrepreneurs, he had held diverse executive positions in the private sector, where he specialized in managing complex international projects for organizations in Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In addition, he has been encouraged in the voluntary sector as emergency medical assistant and rescue driver since 1991.
