The Media Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was founded in 1985 as a reaction to the radical changes in information technology and society by introducing innovations and giving impulses in areas such as music, visual media, virtual worlds, digital society or smart city. The Media Lab’s focus is human-machine interaction.
