15: Migration and the Arts: Europe’s next narrative

-
Hauptschule
Breakout /
in englischer Sprache

Europe’s ethos has been forged by the experience of migration. In particular, artists with “foreign” origins have played a crucial role in building bridges between different parts of the world and communities in Europe. What challenges do contemporary artists face as actors of social change in their daily practices? What possible role can they play in their “new” communities and what messages can they explore for the Europe of today?
