18: Mission-oriented innovation policy in practice
In cooperation with Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose at UCL - University College London and RSA - Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce
What are the new frameworks – and practical tools – that policy-makers need to steer growth in ways that address societal challenges, from climate change to health and social care? Mission-oriented innovation policy promises to find answers to this question by requiring that public agencies go beyond traditional approaches to policy and actively shape new markets, not just regulate existing ones.
