Achieving the Paris Agreement by 2050 calls for effective measures. How can such a transformation be triggered? Who are the game changers? How can we convince policymakers and the public? Using examples from urban mobility, climate change adaptation, and energy use, we discuss promising leverage points. How can new partnerships between business, science, politics, administration and civil society enable an emission-neutral and climate-resilient society worth living in?
