Former Deputy Chef de Cabinet and Special Adviser to the Secretary-General, United Nations, New York

 Ambassador Kim Won-soo is a Korean diplomat as well as the former Under Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs. He also was a Special Advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations since from 2007 to 2016. Kim joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1978 and has served in various capacities, including overseas posting at Korean embassies in the United States and India.
