Yves BOYER
Deputy Director, Fondation pour la Recherche Strategique, Paris
graduated from the Institut d Etudes Politiques de Paris, he has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Paris University. Former senior researcher at the French Institute for International Affairs (IFRI), he is currently deputy director of the Paris based Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique. He has recently chaired different working groups of the French MoD s Defense Science Board. Chairman of the Société Française d Etudes Militaires, he is also associate professor at Institut d Etudes Politiques de Paris and at Ecole polytechnique, the most prestigious French Grande Ecole, where he teaches international relations and security issues. | |
He is member of the editorial board of Revue Défense Nationale and Annuaire Français de Relations Internationales, IAI journal s International Spectator; Revue de Géoéconomie (Paris) as well as Questions Internationales (Paris). Specialized in security and strategic affairs his works include French and European defense and security policies. He has significant experience of international collaboration, both with the US and within the EU and has presented a many international conferences worldwide. |
