The seminar looks at the digitalization of industry and commerce, its prospects for employment and its impacts on work. It starts with an overview of research to date and the general social effects and opportunities of the digital revolution. We then focus on the impact of Smart Factories on work and organisation, ending with a discussion on what the future holds for employees and their representatives.
