Ready to frame the Citoyen for the 21st century?
Taking on the topic of “New Enlightenment”, this summer school deals with the question: “What do people need in the 21st century in order to be considered as enlightened?”
Participants develop and refine the image of the so-called “Citoyen” – a citizen who plays an active role in shaping society according to her/his own beliefs and principles. In collaboration with committed young professionals, participants define which skills are crucial to a Citoyen for actively engaging in the (re)structuring of society. Building on these skills, the path to acquire and enhance them is elaborated. Finally, the seminar participants are urged to put theory into practice and develop a practical idea for ensuring the development of these essential skills in present and future generations.
The Changemaker Lab – “Sapere aude” consists of discussions, case studies, pitching trainings and the development of individual project ideas – because that’s how learning happens!
