10: Don’t mess with our education! Creating new Utopias!

-

Seminar /
in englischer Sprache

”Don’t mess with our education” is a playful, rebellious and profound exploration of the educational system and its main audience: students. Leveraging game design methods and psycho-pedagogical tools, seminar participants are going to create three short, non-digital game vignettes that revolve around three concepts that are central to every consideration around education design.
The goal of this week is not an implementation-ready plan for new educational systems. The goal is to present a nuanced, reflective, systemic and personal profile of the experience of education (and the hopes for the life beyond) from the perspective of the learners. This will be helpful to University leadership in their curricular considerations. More importantly, though, this week aims to empower the participants themselves to see the “big picture” of THEIR education, what it means to them and what they can do to get what they need – not just from a degree, but from life.
