18: Reproductive Rights

-
Hauptschule
Seminar /
in englischer Sprache

The seminar will address social and medical issues concerning reproductive rights in a number of countries and regions. At the outset, participants will be introduced to the concept of natural fertility as well as different social approaches to it. Seeing as a good grasp of the historical background is necessary in order to understand current dynamics and legal situations, the seminar will provide insights into the legal and social history of contraception and abortion. The seminar will be taught by two medical doctors whose expert knowledge will form the cornerstone of the debate.
