16: Participatory Leadership – a Practice of Leading by Dialogue and Co-Creation

Participatory Leadership is a practice rather than a theory, which seeks to create conditions which will allow diverse groups to co-create and collaborate at their fullest potential. It’s particularly appropriate when working on complex challenges. Structured as a 6-day learning journey, this seminar offers a practical and motivational experience of using ‘Art of Hosting’-methods, models and lasting skills on how to tackle individual, organizational and societal topics in a collective manner. Participants will have an opportunity to connect as a group, discover common challenges, engage in conversations that matter and also to practice finding solutions in a participatory way. The hosting team will explain underpinning theories and concepts, share stories and bring inputs from their working contexts.
By joining this seminar, participants are invited to experience methods and models as “Circle”, “World Café”, “Open Space Technology” and others. They will have a chance to work with questions relevant to their specific context and hopefully ignite their passion for using this approach in their daily life.
