19: Life is (Not) a Game – Critical Game Design

-
Hauptschule
Seminar /
in englischer Sprache

This seminar offers a unique, playful and bold invitation to explore social, political and cultural challenges through game design. Looking at the world from a game design perspective allows us to not only simulate a topic, but to practically explore it and discover core dynamics. We will work with metaphors, rules, goals and obstacles to draft a specific message or experience. Participants will be introduced to core concepts of game design, carry out hands-on exercises and get the opportunity to design their own game.
