11: Inequality Research Quo Vadis?
Starting from the discussion which has taken place over the recent decades within social sciences about the significance of new and old social inequalities, we will consider the question of how inequality is theoretically and empirically penetrable under the conditions of a globalised world. Socio-political measures against inequality cannot be discussed separately and should be illuminated under the consideration of intersectionality and international comparison in the course of the seminar.
