07: Work, Distribution and Crisis in Europe

-
Hauptschule
Seminar /
in englischer Sprache

The working world has undergone significant changes in the past decades: flexible employment, the new middle-class precariat, persistent unequal gender pay or the worsened macroeconomic climate in recent years are a few keywords that are frequently heard. This seminar focuses on the link between labour and the macroeconomy. What are the effects of falling wages on unemployment and productives? Is the European crisis linked to distribution and inequality? What are the long-term factors awaiting us given the increasing profit share in many European countries?
