Digital toolkits and digital thinking lead to the democratization of technological innovation and new innovation cultures are emerging. We see a merging of producer and consumer, new maker cultures are coming into existence and experience prototyping gets new significance. The breakout session deals with making from an interdisciplinary perspective: what does it really mean, what constitutes a maker of the future and what role making will play in future innovation processes.
