Digitisation and automation are changing the world of work and societies to a degree never seen before. Not a day goes by without new application scenarios. How can schools prepare their students for the ongoing changes in the world of work? Which professions and skills will be in demand in the future? What are the opportunities for people with medium skill levels and what role will skilled work play in industry 4.0 scenarios? How will these technologies such as big data begin to change our living environment and how do we prepare young people for this process?
