09: Conflict and cooperation in the era of digitisation

-
Hotel Böglerhof
Breakout /
in deutscher Sprache

The digital era offers unexpected opportunities but also poses new challenges. Increasingly we have to answer the question if conflicts in the information society of tomorrow will be intensified or can provide opportunity. Information technologies have had an impact on social and cultural life for quite some time, but increasingly they are also influencing research, science, economy and politics. What strategies can contribute to alleviate conflicts and which may serve to avoid them altogether? And can those strategies keep up with the speed of change in the digital media age?
