”The Priest’s Children” by Vinko Bresan

-
Liechtenstein-Hayek-Saal
Culture /
in englischer Sprache

The young Catholic priest Don Fabijan does not appreciate the Pope s decree of allowing the partial use of condoms. He starts a crusade against modern day developments by puncturing condoms and spreading non working contraceptives amongst the town s people of his small Dalmatian island. As the unwanted pregnancies increase, the priest happily takes on the mission to marry the couples in a proper Christian fashion.
On the occasion of Croatia s entry in the EU, we exclusively preview this film in the
presence of the director and open a discussion on it afterwards.
