Theatre Performance: Free Association
PLEASE NOTE: Two presentations - starting times 19:30 and 21:30. Theatre performance by actors from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art London on the 75th anniversary of the death of Sigmund Freud
This year we remember the 75th anniversary of the death of Sigmund Freud. Under the professional direction of Nona Sheppard and Joseph Kloska, a group of students from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London will develop an on-site performance dedicated to the doctor and great founder of psychoanalysis. In 1938, just a few months after the Nazi occupation of Vienna, Freud was forced to leave; he died in 1939 in London.
Founded in 1904 in London, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is one of England’s most renowned acting schools, from which famous names such as Ralph Fiennes, Anthony Hopkins and Roger Moore have emerged.
